New present!

We got a wonderful new present today, thanks to Jimmy's dad!

It's a Baby Einstein "Around the World" play gym!

We've had our eye on this for a while...it's very cute with lots of animals hanging off those arches, plus extra hooks if you want to buy more animals!

Here's a picture from Kiri's perspective...the Sun lights up and plays different music. You can turn it on yourself, or there's a setting where movement from the baby grabbing it activates the music!

This is the mirror, with a friendly Lion saying hello!

It's wonderful! Thank you!!! We're going to go play with it now.

p.s. remember one of our posts about our changing table, and how BIG the box was? Like, inordinately so?

Well, here is the box that was delivered...

And here's the play gym box...could they NOT have found a SMALLER BOX?!?

Seriously: the box was 95% full of padding!!

Week 38 Visit

Had another visit this Tuesday. We're basically status-quo...no significant changes, although baby Kiri is lower. So, she's at least THINKING about coming out!

Getting ready...

By the way...one thing to add to our last post: our doctor mentioned, at the end of our appointment, "I'm not so convinced this is going to be a May baby."

YIKES.

Ok: so, couple things needed to get done now.

1. Car seat: installed.

(by the way...people have always mentioned how complicated this is. Spent 20 minutes reading the instructions and warnings, then spent 5 minutes installing.)

2. Finishing Kiri's room (still a work in progress).

3. Hospital bag: packed (no picture for that...just envision a suitcase packed FULL).

So, more to come soon. Because it seems that things are moving along a little FASTER than expected!

Week 37 Visit

2 centimeters dilated. Doctor could feel the head.

Week 36 Visit

Good checkup at the doctor this morning. Baby Kiri has a good heart rate (but still does NOT like the ultrasound noises), and Sarah is ALREADY 1-1/2 centimeters dilated!! Yay!

Now we're into weekly visits to the doctor; so, we'll update with more news as it comes!

We've changed the title of our blog...we've been telling people about the name of our daughter-to-be, so we thought we'd make an official post:

So, her blog has her name on it...we're sure she likes it that way :-)
