Kiri Jane Fellenbaum - Week 30, 31 and 32

Sorry it's been a while since the last posting; it's that time of year where the semester ends, the holidays get going, and everyone just gets really busy. On top of that, we have baby KIRI this year, so it's been even busier!!

Oh, hi. I'm eating puffs.

The biggest news of the last three weeks is that Kiri has not one, but TWO, baby teeth!!

This is evident in the video, below. A cracker does not make "cracking" sounds without teeth :-)

Kiri has been getting into the holiday spirit:

I'm in an ornament!

I like our tree from down here.

These are reindeer jammies.
The hat is a monkey hat.
They don't match.

Kiri's been very vocal lately. Here she is with one of her new favorite toys, Sophie the giraffe...she was playing with it when we visited Memere's place:

I had FUN visiting Memere!

She's been eating very well:

Pardon me: may I have some food?

Yes, this will do.

Umm....I like to eat and I'm messy.

She's getting REALLY good with holding her own bottle, too!

She likes to talk with mommy about her clothes:

These are my footieshoes, mommy. Like 'em?

And still likes taking walks with her, Stephanie Burdette and baby Clare:

I'm all bundled up, and ready to go!

She's still LOVING her motorcycle walker:

Our biggest enjoyment is watching her become more aware, trying to talk to us (she's so close to saying a syllable!), and starting to get around places on her tummy. We're working on her crawling right now...she doesn't like it, of course. :-)

Looking forward to the coming holiday weeks with our baby Kiri.

Kiri Jane Fellenbaum - Week 29

This is Santa. He's my buddy.

The holidays are officially here, and Kiri got her first introduction to Santa, and the magical time of Christmas:

This bear was here already.

How am I doing, Daddy?

We had dinner after our trip to the mall!
(notice the change of clothes...for good reason)

Before the trip to Santa, Kiri got to meet and spend time with her aunt Sarah Mazzotta, Jim's sister! She flew in from Denver for Jim's birthday and Thanksgiving. Kiri's Memere was here, too...she's not in any of the pictures, because she was doing ALL of the FABULOUS cooking!!!

I like Aunt Sarah's food.

I will eat all of this.

After her Thanksgiving dinner, she got a bath (to get all of the pumpkin pie and whipped cream off of her!!):

My towel.

Clean is good.

I'm happy AND clean!

However, before we left, she got her hair messy again, so we had to wash her hair in the sink:

This won't take long, right?

Ummm...this is more than I bargained for.

Almost done? I hope?

So, that was a big day for all of us. The next morning, it seemed that we ALL needed some coffee:

I think coffee should go in here.

You gonna pour me some?

Seems like you gotta wait a while for
service around here...

Am I EVER going to get some coffee?

Well, no, she didn't. :-)

Later, she was ready for some xylophone in her motorcycle...you don't hear that sentence uttered very much:

Ready to play.

In fact, she had a LOT of adventures in her motorcycle this week...

First, she wanted to show Daddy how well she could move across the kitchen:

Another time, she wanted to show Pirate what she thought of the mini-blinds (she likes conversing with Pirate in many ways):

And, finally, we haven't heard her "Pterodactyl Voice" for a while, and she decided to bring it out while scooting around the kitchen:

A really big week for our girl!

Kiri Jane Fellenbaum - Week 28

Kiri's week included a visit to the doctor's office. Her stats include:

Head:  17 inches

Weight: 18.02 lbs

Length: 26.5 inches.

At her request, we did not take any pictures. She had some shots, so she had a "sad."

Kiri's getting into the holiday spirit:

I fell over.

She took her new "look" to Rush's Music to visit some of her friends:

Later, at home, Kiri was feeling musical:

But, Mommy: this is MY trumpet.

Well, THAT didn't go well, according to Kiri. So, later that night, after she pulled her motorcycle out of her "garage:"

This is where I park my ride.

...she decided to be a percussionist:

I've got my sticks ready.

This is mine.

LOUDER, strings!
Or I'll hit you with my "baton."
Am I doing ok, Daddy?

Kiri Jane Fellenbaum - Week 27

Hey everyone!

Kiri had a fun week. She had a visit to Rush's Music to visit Sandra:

I faxed some invoices for you.

Following in the music theme was this escapade at home. Will this be her instrumental calling in life? Probably not, judging by her final attempt:

Kiri took her first visit to the Knoxville Zoo.

You mean there are other animals,
besides the ones at home?

Need food before seeing all of the animals...

Her week ended with a visit to St. John's Cathedral to hear mommy play trumpet at the Sunday morning service:

Kiri Jane Fellenbaum - Week 26

Kiri's week began on Monday with her first HALLOWEEN!

She went to West Town Mall to meet up with her buddy, Clare Burdette (Stephanie's daughter), who was an ADORABLE Tinkerbell, to take part in some kid Halloween festivities:

You shouldn't eat that key fob.

Kiri enjoys shopping with Mommy, now that she has a new shopping cart cover:

We need to go over there now.

This stuff costs HOW much?!?

Going for a walk with Daddy:

Also, while strolling around in her motorcycle walker, she passed by the oven and saw herself, and seemed to enjoy it:

She's growing and growing, getting more beautiful every day:
