Sorry for the hiatus...

Hi everyone-

It's been an INSANE couple of months since our last post, and sorry we haven't posted since then. There are lots of wonderful things to report about Miss Kiri, including (at the VERY least) her first birthday!!

The main item that was keeping us extra busy was having our house on the market. The GREAT news is that we not only got an offer on ours, but we made an offer on a new one four days after that! To top it off, all of this happened in the MIDDLE OF THIS MONTH, with the condition that we move out on MAY 31ST!! Yikes!

So, we're supposed to close this coming Thursday, May 31st...most everything is on track, although there could be a delay or two because everything happened so fast -- keep your fingers crossed for us! We're vigorously packing as we speak/type...

In the meantime, we'll try to post something soon about Kiri: pix, video and much more...she's growing SO fast, and becoming more beautiful each day!!

Kiri Jane Fellenbaum - Week 45

It's been another busy couple of weeks, and Kiri's been up to a lot.

First, Kiri got a new hat, and is quite the little fashion model:

The following video shows a few things: Kiri's either wants to eat rocks, or organize them (throwing them overboard), she still likes animals and, when she wants to go somewhere, she gets GOING:

Since she's walking around a lot (almost by herself...soon!!!), we got her a couple of new shoes...she was wearing the pink ones, below, in the video above:

And, she's really been dancing as LOT recently...she's such a happy girl!

Kiri Jane Fellenbaum - Week 42 (we think)

WE'RE BACK!!

What? Do I have something on my face?

Sorry it's been a while, everyone...January and February were simply insane! Still is, kind of, but we grabbed a moment to catch you up on a few things about Miss Kiri.

First, she's is THIS CLOSE to saying something:

She still really loves her crackers, and has really been getting into DANCING:

And, just recently, she FINALLY started crawling...Army-crawling, but still: she's MOVING around on her own!!

Her doctor visit...she's a very healthy 9-month old:

I like my water cup.

I weigh more now.

She's also starting to wean off baby food:

...and she is FULLY into adult food...and LOVING it:

This is a beet. I like it.

Kiri Jane Fellenbaum - Week 33

Happy New Year, everyone!!!

Well, it's been an exciting and busy couple of weeks, starting with a visit from her Memere and Dixie Ishee:

...and then I crammed the food in like this.

Then, it was on to CHRISTMAS. Kiri's FIRST!!

On Christmas day, Mommy had a gig with Angie and Tami at Farragut Presbyterian Church. Here they are warming up that morning:

Then, it was off to Memere's house for the rest of Christmas day. She got many presents, but perhaps her favorite might have been the first one (we dunno...just guessing on her reaction ;-)  ):

Kiri Jane Fellenbaum - Week 30, 31 and 32

Sorry it's been a while since the last posting; it's that time of year where the semester ends, the holidays get going, and everyone just gets really busy. On top of that, we have baby KIRI this year, so it's been even busier!!

Oh, hi. I'm eating puffs.

The biggest news of the last three weeks is that Kiri has not one, but TWO, baby teeth!!

This is evident in the video, below. A cracker does not make "cracking" sounds without teeth :-)

Kiri has been getting into the holiday spirit:

Kiri's been very vocal lately. Here she is with one of her new favorite toys, Sophie the giraffe...she was playing with it when we visited Memere's place:

She's been eating very well:

Umm....I like to eat and I'm messy.

She's getting REALLY good with holding her own bottle, too!

She likes to talk with mommy about her clothes:

She's still LOVING her motorcycle walker:

Our biggest enjoyment is watching her become more aware, trying to talk to us (she's so close to saying a syllable!), and starting to get around places on her tummy. We're working on her crawling right now...she doesn't like it, of course. :-)

Kiri Jane Fellenbaum - Week 29

This is Santa. He's my buddy.

The holidays are officially here, and Kiri got her first introduction to Santa, and the magical time of Christmas:

How am I doing, Daddy?

We had dinner after our trip to the mall!
(notice the change of clothes...for good reason)

Before the trip to Santa, Kiri got to meet and spend time with her aunt Sarah Mazzotta, Jim's sister! She flew in from Denver for Jim's birthday and Thanksgiving. Kiri's Memere was here, too...she's not in any of the pictures, because she was doing ALL of the FABULOUS cooking!!!

I like Aunt Sarah's food.

I will eat all of this.

After her Thanksgiving dinner, she got a bath (to get all of the pumpkin pie and whipped cream off of her!!):

Clean is good.

I'm happy AND clean!

However, before we left, she got her hair messy again, so we had to wash her hair in the sink:

Ummm...this is more than I bargained for.

So, that was a big day for all of us. The next morning, it seemed that we ALL needed some coffee:

Well, no, she didn't. :-)

Later, she was ready for some xylophone in her motorcycle...you don't hear that sentence uttered very much:

In fact, she had a LOT of adventures in her motorcycle this week...

First, she wanted to show Daddy how well she could move across the kitchen:

Another time, she wanted to show Pirate what she thought of the mini-blinds (she likes conversing with Pirate in many ways):

And, finally, we haven't heard her "Pterodactyl Voice" for a while, and she decided to bring it out while scooting around the kitchen:
